Registrations will be open from Wednesday 11th March to Sunday 18th April 2026.
Team allocation is prioritised for existing club players who register on time, then new players who register on time. Late registrations are only accepted on a case-by-case basis, after consulting with team coaches.
The winter season runs from Saturday 18th April 2026 to Saturday 19th September 2026.

Fees
The registration fee for Winter 2026 is $370 per player, plus the annual Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia registration fees. The Saturday door entry fees are included in the club fee.
If you are new to the club and need to pay the once-per-family uniform bond, select it at checkout to ensure you pay the refundable uniform bond. The bond is $50.
Our multi-child family discount is set up so that 2nd and subsequent children will now receive a 5% discount off their club registration fees.

We understand that families may find the one-off payment of season particularly burdensome, so we have arranged an option to assist: please email our treasurer ([email protected]) to organise a payment plan prior to registering.

Coaches wishing to use their coaches discount when registering their child should also email the treasurer prior to registering to receive an appropriate discount code to use at checkout.

PlayHQ offers online payment via credit card (with an associated non-refundable credit card processing fee), and a payment instalment option.
age brackets
The "age" of players for determining which age group your child plays in winter season is the child's age at 31st December 2026. This is the same rule that has been in place at the CBA since summer season 2017/18.

inter-club transfers
Due to the way PlayHQ operates, inter-club transfers will not be approved until after the grand final (Saturday 28th March 2026). For this reason we are holding registrations open until Sunday 18th April 2026.
Players seeking a transfer are requested to NOT REGISTER until SAT 28th MARCH or SUN 29th MARCH.
If you are intending to transfer in to the Warriors , you can assist in preliminary team allocation by emailing at [email protected] prior to the 28th March, so we can ensure that we have room for you on your desired team.

How To Register - for new club members
All registrations will be through an online system called PlayHQ. If you do not already have an account with PlayHQ, you will prompted to create one during the registration process. This system has been developed by Basketball Victoria specifically for the purpose of managing statewide basketball. Note: You cannot register via our "club page", you must register via the link above (also can be found below in the instructions, repeated again at the bottom of the page for ease of access).
The system allows us to manage our registrations online, accept credit card payments, and provides online access for things such as ladders and fixtures. The website is mobile optimised and we are promised that an app for iPhone and Android that lets you view this information on your phone is in the works. PlayHQ is still very much under development, and new features are being added regularly.
In order to register your child to play, you must create an account on www.playhq.com - Please use a personal email address for your login and contact information - work email addresses often have aggressive spam filters, and become redundant when people move jobs or go on holidays. Your PlayHQ account will be used to register your child, and your child will be tied to that account/email address - so only one parent / guardian can register the child and manage the account ongoing. If another parent / guardian uses a different PlayHQ account to register a player who is currently or previously registered, the system will not recognise that player as being the same person, and you will be double-charged the Basketball Victoria/Australia annual registration fee - see below for more information.
