our history

The Warrior’s Basketball club began in 2007 with just one Under 8s team.

By 2009, the club had taken an important step forward by becoming formally registered. Around this time, a small but dedicated group of volunteers formed the club’s committee, united by a shared vision to build something lasting for the local community. Through regular meetings, careful management and tireless fundraising efforts, the committee laid strong foundations for the club’s future. What began as a single team gradually grew year by year, driven by the passion of players, families and volunteers. From those modest beginnings, the club has expanded into a thriving community, proudly fielding 29 teams as of March 2026.
