Update from CBA regarding return to sport:
- CBA is aware that Return to Sport guidelines from BV state Green 100 however schools have their own guidelines in place for hiring
- We are running CBA season similar to the Orange 50 model
- One player, one guardian
- Adults to wear masks inside and maintain 1.5m social distance at all times QR codes will be at all venues to keep record of attendance
- Doors will open 10 minutes prior to game start to ensure smooth flow through the venue
- Exiting the venue must take place immediately to allow Biosafety/ Supervisor to clean before next teams enter
A note from the CBA regarding the unavailability of the stadium early 2021:
CBA’s recommendation is not to use Coburg Basketball Stadium as CBA board are unsatisfied with the current conditions of the courts
Club delegates have been informed that the floors have not been maintained since Easter 2019
SSV as hirers can provide OH&S report of the courts to their hirers as a duty of care
BV will continue to provide insurance but may look at investigating venue as insurance claims rise
The Warriors will continue to utilise the stadium for training purposes only, while the stadium is still available. When the stadium floor resurfacing commences, alternative training arrangements will be advised.
