Cadbury Chocolate Fund Raiser
In an effort to keep fees to families to the bare minimum, our club engages in a couple of community fund-raising events each year. These efforts help offset the costs of equipment and uniforms for our kids, and helps pay for things like our annual presentation day.
This year, each team will be asked to sell some boxes of Cadbury fund-raising chocolates. You are encouraged to sell to friends, family, colleagues, neighbours, spectators at your games, and anyone else you think might have a sweet tooth. (If you send your children off to sell, please ensure they are accompanied by an adult).
To encourage teams to participate more enthusiastically in the fundraising, we are offering prizes for the best sellers. The two teams that sell the most boxes of chocolates will be rewarded to tickets to a Big-V game for each player in the team plus a parent, and the coach and team manager. The game we've chosen is the Division 2 Men, Sunday 15th July, 1pm, Coburg Stadium.
Boxes of chocolates will be delivered to your teams on Saturday 16th June, to be distributed by your team manager. Each box of Freddos contains 48 chocolates, and each item sells for $1. If you sell out, please come back for more. If you received a box of mixed mini bars, there are 60 in a box, each item also sells for $1.
Saturday 30th June (Round 9) will be the last day for teams to return their money (and unsold chocolates) to their team manager. Winning teams will be notified by the 7th of July.
